Bios settings
With advances in technology and in particular motherboard chipsets, it is common motherboard includes support for sound in the chipset. The sound solution offered on board often includes full capacity up to 7.1 surround sound compatible speakers without a sound card added.Instructions
1 Turn on your PC and wait Post information shown on startup. Post information includes information such as the BIOS version of your operating system and available memory. Wait for the computer to display a message telling you to press a specific key to enter the BIOS setup. Common key decisions are F1, F2 or Del.
2. Press the run and wait for the BIOS setup menu to load.
3. Navigate through the main menu in the BIOS using the keyboard arrow keys to highlight and select the menu item Advanced. Advanced, select Integrated Peripherals, then browse the list of Onboard Audio. Press the bios key to change the setting to On and press F10 to save and exit the BIOS.
4. Restart the PC operating system. After reboot, Windows enters detection mode devices and install a new driver for your sound device. Let the system go online to install the latest driver for your sound chip controller. The system may need to reboot to enable full functionality. If so, let it does, then use the new sound device as you would any sound card installed.
