What are vector graphics?

Learning to manage programs requires time and patience design, but the good thing is that all answers can be found on the Internet with simple tutorials and explanatory videos. If you’re starting in the art of graphic design, you must know something basic: the use of vector graphics.

It is independent images formed by geometric figures, such as line segments, polygons, arcs, etc.
In turn, each defined by different attributes such as shape, position, color and thickness of the border, allowing us to create infinite possibilities.

This image format is completely different bitmap, which is formed by pixels. Therefore, if we expand or reduce their proportions, they will lose quality. This does not occur when using vector graphics, and also can stretch, twist or move relatively easily.

Corel Draw is one of the most used tools to manipulate and create vector graphics. See the following video the basic principles, features and options for use.
