Bios access

The BIOS, or the system basic input bios output on the computer is a useful program that most computer users never touch. This is the first piece of software your computer loads at boot time, and controls the hardware. Dell desktop, BIOS has blocked a couple of solutions, but the Inspiron 1525 Laptop, the way in a locked BIOS involves a few steps.


Instructions

Turn off the computer, wait a few seconds and then back on. Start tapping F2 as soon as the power button is pressed. When prompted for the BIOS password, try pressing Enter. Dell set some of their computers – but not most – of having a blank password BIOS to prevent some users from accidentally entering the BIOS setup and change.

Enter Dell for the password and press Enter, making sure to use a capital D in Dell. This is the default password Dell alternative. If none Enter or works Dell and you’re still locked out of BIOS program, try some of your other passwords if they changed the BIOS password at an earlier time. Again, most of the programs BIOS Dell laptops, are not protected by password, so the password should be something you have written in an earlier time.

Download program Flash BIOS or through automatic update interface integrated into the Dell Inspiron 1525. You have options to use a CD-ROM or update the BIOS from bios the latter is the easiest, because Dell has a step by step wizard to guide you through the process. After the download is complete, double-click the file to extract its contents, and then follow the instructions.

Restart when prompted and press F2 several times to try to access the BIOS again. Flash BIOS update will replace the BIOS software with a new copy, you must delete the old password. You can set a new password now, if desired, but it is best to write it down so you can avoid this problem in the future.
